This year’s Teabridge Pride has been hailed as the biggest and most successful in the event’s history after hundreds of residents and visitors joined celebrations across the town.
The event, produced by Oliver Mitchell Events, included live music, food stalls, community organisations, performances and a colourful afternoon procession through the centre of Teabridge.
Market Street and the surrounding area were decorated throughout the weekend, with local shops and cafes joining the celebrations with window displays and special events.
Organiser Oliver Mitchell said this year’s turnout had exceeded expectations.
“We wanted something that felt joyful, welcoming and unmistakably Teabridge,” he said. “The response was extraordinary.”
Several local businesses reported one of their busiest weekends of the summer so far.
The afternoon parade was followed by live entertainment and an evening celebration, while quieter family activities were held earlier in the day.
Councillor Margaret Frobisher thanked organisers, volunteers and residents for helping the event run smoothly.
“To see so many people out enjoying themselves and supporting one another was wonderful,” she said.
Organisers have already confirmed that Teabridge Pride will return in 2027.
Oliver Mitchell Events has not yet revealed whether next year’s celebration will be larger.
Mitchell would only say: “We have ideas.”
